Welcome to the first ever world-wide discography of Kim Wilde. On this site I hope to list all of the official Kim Wilde records that were released all over the world. The discography is based on my own collection, a discography by Johan Hogberg which can be found elsewhere on the Internet and numerous record collector's publications from the UK. I am also indebted to Juan Larraz for the information on some of the records included on these pages.
Special thanks to Martin Zandstra, my non-Net-connected friend, especially for his amazing collection of Polish tapes!
For version 2.3 I need to thank John Kassim, UK, for his list which provided yet another wealth of information.

If you want to contribute alterations, corrections or additions to the list you're about to see, you can always mail me at [email protected].

Enjoy!

Legal stuff

The legality of the Polish tapes can be discussed at length. I will try to be short: I am convinced they're quite illegal. The reason I do include them in this discography is because in Poland these tapes are apparently the main way to get to Kim's music (or any other artist's music, for that matter). Besides that, they represent great collector's value in other parts of the world. The Polish compilations can be rather bizarre and thus amusing. I will try to keep track of as many releases as I can, but when and if I get a request from Kim Wilde's representatives these tapes will be removed from the discography as soon as possible.

Revisions & additions

Version 2.0:
January 1996. From the plain text discography and data from Johan Hogberg's discography, the first HTML version of the discography is compiled. Information of the length of tracks is included for the first time. All tracks of all records are listed. Also, hyperlinks are made from the short to the long discography.

Version 2.1:
August 1996. The second HTML version of the discography includes a table, which replaces the short discography. From there, hyperlinks are made to separate pages per title. This major overhaul was inspired by the creation of a new Website, called the Ultimate Kim Wilde Internet Experience. Yet this version was never made public.

Version 2.2:
September 1996. The list of German fellow fan Roberto Kappen's collection provided lots of information for this version. Almost all of the records were updated. Some records were illustrated. The version 2.2 appeared online mid-September.

Version 2.3:
October 8, 1996. Information about the new single Shame added. Also included is information from a list by John Kassim, UK. Appeared online on October 8th, 1996.

Version 2.4:
April/May 1997. Complete illustrations on almost all of the releases within this discography, with the exception of 12" sleeves and some album sleeves. Minor additions.
